Greetings Citizens. The kiddie play-off games went smoothly enough. The games were all good and the scores were close. Parents wanted to kill us. All in a day's work for a youth officialYesterday, after football on TV, I went up to the school and made some kallitypes. I used platinum/palladium developers instead of the traditional developers and was very happy with the results. The colors were nice and the scale was wonderful. Ah, the "working man's platinum " print.
Today the basic kids are working in the lab on their portrait assignment. Those with film to develop will be guinea pigs for the new developer that Craig decided to purchase. I was against switching a third of the way through the semester but the price was right, I guess.

we should get together! maybe we could meet in brigham city and then go to the jetty... and of course, if you're ever in slc, ring me up. you have my digits, no? also, i may come up to logan soon if i have a chance at getting to print on the color machine. i have some smallish things to print, but if it's possible, i wanna do some 20x24 mural printing (color), cuz i don't wanna pay b.anderson to do it.
it's a good plan to come up for a printing session except for a minor detail: the machine has been down for two weeks!
but, yes! it'd be fun to go out to the jetty and shoot some pretty pictures.
oh poo! are they working on getting it up? i may be able to come up in november some time between the 10th and the 20th
